Hi Gurus,
We recently upgraded PPM to 6.0, and just came across the following
situation - we have 6 different Portfolios in PPM each with its own set of security roles. In the configurations
for each portfolio, we set security roles from other portfolios
to "None". For instance, in P1 portfolio configurations, we set P2
and P3 roles to "None". Some of our users, have roles from two or
three portfolios, and after upgrade we noticed, that even though they
still can make and save changes for P2 portfolio items, they receive
also error "You require authorization to display project..." It looks
like even though PPM picks role with highest authorization, it still
captures other roles set to "none" and throws an error message which
confuses end users.
I searched for a note but the note is very specific to PPM 5.0 which is "Note 1291528 - Authorization error after sucessfully saving decision point".
Could you please assist as in how to go around this issue?
Thanks and Kind Regards
Mohan
