We are having an issue with Java applications in PPM 6.0 such as "Portfolio structure" in Portfolio management and Gantt diagram (Jnet/JGantt) in cProjects. When we open the application Java starts to load (loading circle image pops out) but nothing happens (sometimes the application loads in 30 minutes, sometimes the application never loads). Internet Explorer page usually freezes as well (depends on the user).
This problem occurred only after using PPM 6.0 after couple of months. We didn't have any issues with PPM 6.0 Java at first.
We are using:
CPRXRPM, Version 600_740, SP 0007
SAP_BASIS, Version 740, SP 0011
SAP_ABA (NetWeaver), Version 740 SP 0010
SAP GUI 740 (Patch level 4, tried previous patches as well)
SAP NWBC for Desktop 5.0 (we are using SAP NWBC for HTML as well)
Windows 7, SP1, 64-bit (tried Windows 10 with Edge browser)
Internet Explorer 11, Version 11.0.22 (64- bit)
Java, Version 8, Update 60 (64- and 32- bit)
We tried: 1. Java: clearing Java cash ("Keep temporary files on computer" option is on). Using previous Java version (1.6).
2. Internet Explorer: changing security (to low) and parameter settings of IE.
3. Launching PPM on different local machines in different local networks with different virus scanners.
Additional information: We have another system with PPM 5.0 running on Enterprise Portal - we have no problems using Java apps in this system. Opening Java debugger shows some kind of loop but we are not good enough in Java to understand the reasons of loop. We opened WDP application alone without NWBC and still experince the same issue.
We will appreciate any help.
