Integation of PPM with WFD

Hello community,

one of our requirements is the integration of PPM with WFD (Workforce Deployment).

Our infrastructure is:

CRM 7.0 EhP3

PPM 6.0 SP8

Basis 740

PPM is installed as an add-on to CRM.

We like to use WFD for our resourcing within PPM.

When it comes to the staffing of project roles, the system checks the role typ, where I set the flag for the use of WFD.

Staffing is only possible with resources which are part of the WFM Core.

That part works.

However, I do not receive any further information from WFD, e.g. availability, etc.

In SAP note 2034609 and 1246105 I read that liveCache should be activated.

Is this a recommendation or a mandatory step?

Who of you established a functional scenario with WFD and PPM?

I would like to now about the necessary config checks or steps to realize it here.
