We are trying to test an integration scenario between ChaRM and PPM.
In SolMan in SPRO there is the following piece of functionality > Map Transaction Types onto Task Types. Within it, for each entry there is a check-box called Retr. Time, that comes with the following explanation:
This indicator restricts the users allowed to record time in a Change Request Management (ChaRM) transaction.
If the indicator is set, only resources that are assigned to the transaction with partner function PPM Resource (SMCD0005) are allowed
to record time.
Well, the question is if anyone knows a place in SCN where that scenario is better developed? I mean:
1. Where do we record the time spent in an RfC or in a Change Document.
2. We know the report DPR_CATS_CPR_TRANSF, copies the time spent in the RfC or Change Document into PPM > Item > Tab: Dates and Work.
3. If the time is supposed to be entered in CATS, how do we do that? How a timesheet will get the link to an RfC or a Change Document to reflect the time spent there by the developer (resource)?
Any clarification of help on this is really appreciated.
