There is this table INM_M_OBJ_MET_VA which has the information about the values that we input against each metrics within metrics management. Could someone let us know how to relate the GUID present in the table to the portfolio-item guid?

We have a requirement wherein we need to display 3 different metrics within the key figure monitor. Metrics A and B are to be manually input and Metric C is to be calculated based on A and B ( example c = a + b). Is there any BADI that we can make use of to achieve this? Your input is highly appreciated.

our basis had installed the IDES EHP7 including PPM6.0, and I have done some configurations.
now the problem is that, if I click to create a project or a portfolio, the webpage will not be displayed.
I have checked that the URL address will be redirected to an unknown address. for example, my correct URL should be http://test.corp.com:8000, but after I click to create a new project, the URL of pop-upped page will be http://eccde.wdf.sap.com:50080. Strange!
am I miss some configuration steps? can anyone help me on this.

Hi,
We are trying to upload a document from within the "Documents" tab in cProjects. Once the check-in button is clicked, we get an error "Certificate does not exist". We have this problem in the dev system. Could someone throw some light on what the problem could be?

I'm quite new in the PPM world and I'm currently facing an issue with authorization objects. I created a custom user Role, starting from SAP_CPR_USER.
I would like to add the bucket object authorization : if I assing this tole to a user, it won't be enabled to select buckets .
How can I manage it? I've tried to search on the internet , finding something on RPM , but did'n get the logic, neither I've understood how to set it eventually.

Hi all,
Anyone who knows if it is possible to enhance the /RPM/BUCKET_ROLLUP report so that it is possible to specify a single or multiple Items that you want to perform this for. Then rolling up from Item to the bucket and from bucket to parent bucket until the bucket has no parent bucket, making sure it is rolled all the way up the hierarchy.

Hi Gurus,
We are facing a issue in the workflow for appropriate request. We have 13 levels of approvals for an AR. Of the 13 approvers two has resigned and their userid's are deleted from ECC6. At the moment we are manually forwarding the request using TC SWIA. In all the request we have added new 2 approvers in the place of resigned approvers using TC IMA2N. Even then we have to forward manually all the request to the next approver. Is there any method to avoid manual forwarding.
P.S , We have added the 2 new approvers in the approver list using TC OITN. How to replace for all the request at one go replacing the deleted approvers with fresh approvers.

Hi All,
I am having a issue with 'calculated finish date' from view 'viewdata' for a project. When we are saving this data from portal it is saving in ECC catsdb table with 1 day more (Ex: if we are saving as 02/24/2014 in portal, it is saving as 02/25/2014 in ECC). When I am trying to read this date into CAT2 tcode I am seeing the date with 1 day more. But when I pull the same project in portal it is showing the correct value that we saved (without adding 1 day more).
While reading the data into CAT2 tcode I can subtract '1' and the original data. But i want to know how the data is ulling correctly on portal so I can use the same method while I am trying to read to CAT2 tcode.
Any help/documents/link is appreciated.

Is there a way we can see the total confirmed work(dates and works tab) for each Project at least in the Projects Dashboard?
Sample Dashboard view we want:

We would like to check if a particular phase has not been approved before a certain date and assign a severity for it automatically. We would like to know the status to be entered for "SYSTEM-STATUS" in the formula for threshold as the status of the phase would be "For Approval - Released".

When searching in here we found out the basic object link for costing rollup is 0RPMFIPROJECT. When we manually create object links between item and cproject it is working fine.But, we want to automatically create object link between Item and Cproject when we create item from project using Create Project on Saving.Is our understanding is proper? Or is there any other configuration is to be done for creating the Automatic Object link between item and Cproject ?

Hi,
I have a set of default folders in the document section of a Project template. But when i am creating a project of that template, the document folder list is not getting copied. Where can i debug to find the issue? I can see the list of folders/documents are there in the table DPR_DOCUMENT for the project template but while creating even after saving, i can see only the root folder getting created.
The issue is coming after we upgraded our system to PPM5.0. It was working fine earlier.
Anyone faced the similar issue?

I can't find the table or view where SAP PPM maintains the relationship between tasks or projects to person responsible. I already browse from different tables(DPR_PROJECT, DPR_TASK,RPM_FES_MANGER_A) and tried to trace it but I can't.
Objective:
To simplify, I want to build a reports/view that have the following columns:
1st:
Project ID
Project Name
Project Category
Project Type
Person Responsible
2nd:
Task ID
Task Name
Person Responsible
I already found CGPL_TEXT where SAP PPM maintains the information I need like the project and task name. I also found RPM_FES_MANGER_A where the names of person responsible is being maintained along with its RESOURCE_GUID. I just need the table that at least shows the ff. fields.

Hi ,
I am using PPM 5.0. PPM item integration with SAP PS project. I am planning to update planned/actual work hour from PS project to PPM item Capacity Planning.
I have maintained the proper setting like Cost element mapping to capacitu categoty, capacity group and view. Capacity view is set as integration. PPM item has object link with PS WBS. The Global setting also maintained.
When I use the report /RPM/FICO_INT_PLANNING, it does not update the capacity planning view from PS project. But Finance view is updated properly.
Is there any extra setting needs to done?
