Item Tab sequence change

Hello All,

 

At present my portfolio item level, first tab is Customer information and second tab is General information.

 

I want to make first tab as General information. and second tab as Customer Information.

 

How to do this?

I try to find component  RPM_ITEM_DETAILS_OIF but it is not present.

 

I try below option also but component not present

 

start transaction SE80,

 

 

 

2. Web Dynpro Comp./intf.  = FPM_OIF_COMPONENT

 

3. -> Component Configurations, select 'RPM_ITEM_DETAILS_OIF',

 

4. Then 'start the configuration'.

 

Is there any other way to find webdynpro component or change tab?

SAP PPM on Solman-Resource Managment

Hi I have a requirement which is as under


Three Programs and five projects will be created as follows:

 

1-Program A: have Two Project (Assigned to program A)

 

2-Program B:  Have Two simple projects (Assigned to Program B)

3- Program C: One simple project .

 

Programs A and B have shared and dedicated resource pool

Program C uses a dedicated resource pool



Appreciate if Anyone give me some pointers to fulfill this requirement using cProjects Project and Program. We are having SAP PPM on Solman Setup.

Dear Experts,

 

I want to learn PPm and cFolders implementation and its functionality. The same I will do and test in IDES client.(which is here upgraded to EhP 6.0)

 

Can you please guide me on how to start this self  learning and what should be the approach for it.

 

Which is the minimum level of EhP to get PPM and cFolders activated in SAP?

SAP BI reports in PPM 5.0

Hi,

    Within the Reports in Portfolio Management we do not see the report link "Initiative Financial Planning by Timeline" and "Initiative capacity planning by timeline". Could someone guide on how to get those links within the reports page?

Change Classification Hierarchy data at Item Portfolio

Dear Gurus;

 

We developed a program to change/modify Classification Hierarchy data from Item Portfolio, but we have a problem, because we found that the method to change data are private and they doesn't call it from Z program.

This method MODIFY_ASSIGNMENT it's private from /RPM/CL_BUCKET_API class.


Someone has found another solution to change/modify classification hierarchy data?

Primavera and ms project

Hello,

 

I would like to know  if it is possible to use SAP instead of primavera 6 ( oracel) for project management such as : making  s- curve , gant chart, cpm, project scheduling and contorling , resource allocation and leveling?

and also , basically, what is the diffrence between SAP project management software and Oracel P6 or ms project? which one is better for project managment Only?

Classification Buckets status

Hi All,

 

Any way of removing a Classification bucket from the selections in an Item's Classification Hierarchy.

 

When I set the status to inactive in a class. bucket I would expect this to be removed from the selections I have in an Item when I want to "Edit Classifications". But the class. bucket is still in the list.

 

How do I remove it?

Open PS and MSP Integration

Hi,

 

I have installed MSP 2007 with SAP R/3 GUI 730 Final Release Version    7300.2.4.3271 with patch level 4 and OPEN PS Version: 4.04.03

 

But not able to Connect MSP with SAP R/3

 

While Connecting it giving msg "Logon in progress-please wait......

 

But not able to connect ,

 

when click on logon after entering the password . logon screen will blink 2-3 times but not connected.

 

pls suggest.

Graphics not loading without Internet Connectivity

Hey All,

                We are having one peculiar problem that Gantt Chart Graphics and Portfolio Graphics is not getting Loaded without Internet. We tried updating the Java to it's latest version still it is not getting Loaded without internet. What could be the reason for it ? Apart from graphics everything is working fine.

Why a user can't upload a document in a phase?

Hi everybody, We're facing this issue :



We have SAP PPM 5.0, authorization added at project level. Our customer requires that if a user is responsible for a task in a phase, he can attach a document in the Document tab at phase level. What happens is that a user cannot do that, even if he has Admin Authorization to the phase.

Report for Items

Hey People,

                    We were creating report of item and trying to extract the data from table /RPM/ITEM_D found out that it has more entries than actual number of items. while analyzing it found out that whenever an initiative is created , entry gets created in /RPM/ITEM_D table . So is it ok or is there any other table for Master Table of Items?

Project Management Template Issues

Hi Everyone,

 

 

We are having problems with the project templates that we created. Some of them are not appearing in the dropdown list of create item on saving in the item level but when we are creating a project directly without an item, all of them are present in the dropdown of templates for project creation.

 

 

Are there anything else we need to do so we can make it appear on the drop down list while in the item creation screen?

Bucket ACL import from Excel

Hi all,

 

Can anyone explain to me how the import from excel to Buckets work when I want to change multiple users ACL (or actually I just want to delete the ACL for multiple users). In a bucket it is possible to add Multiple users and assign the same ACL for all of them, but when we need to change these it can only be done for one user at a time. I can't even remove the ACL for all users in one go.

 

So I was hoping that the import to bucket from Excel could help me here. I am unsure or what values to input when downloading the DX layout template. This template gives me four cells to fill:

 

1. External ID (I assume this is the bucket external ID

2. Activity (I assume this is the ACL meaning either ADMIN, WRITE, READ or NONE?????)

3. User (Here I assume this is username of the resource I want to change/delete the ACL)

4. Role ID (I assume this is the PFCG role if this was what I wanted to change ACL for?)

 

 

Any advice?

We rollup actual cost from SAP PS/Cproject to portfolio item. How actual cost handle at item level? does this cost move to FI if yes how?

In PS we do settlement to move cost to FI, how actual cost work in PPM?

How to Search Task / Project by Responsible Role? SAP PPM 5.0 Project Management

Dear Experts,

Our Customer's requirement is to have the possibility to change the standard Search function, so that a user can search for Projects/Tasks by Responsible Role

For example:

Search for all the Projects/Tasks assigned to the Role "Master Data Manager Italy"

and the expected result is a list of tasks like the following:


Sort Number     Name         Role        Path

00010      Request FG Code       Master Data Manager Italy  Demo Project >Finish Good
00020      Attach Image for FG Code      Master Data Manager Italy  Demo Project >Finish Good
00030      Approve Final Graphic       Master Data Manager Italy  Demo Project >Finish Good


I see that in the Search screen there is a Search Field.
I had a look to the User Guide and Application Help; but I did not find anything useful about this "Search Field".

How can I customize it to meet Customer's requirement?

cFolders documents in Content Server mistery

Hi experts,

 

we have an interesting issue I hope you can help me.

 

We have configurated cFolders, and we want to save uploaded documents to our content server.

 

I have seen a lot of posts of how doing it:

 

We have to go to DMWB and configue cff part with a new Z content type that points to our contentserver. The thing is, this configuration is not done. In CFF - PHIO Classes, all values for STORAGE_CATEGORY is CFFCONTENT (and this points to internal DB).

 

But, when I upload the document in cFolders, and I execute report RSHTTP51 with my Z content repository pointing Content Server and the document ID created... and I get it (so... the document is in the Content Server) ...

 

How can be it possible?

SAP SRM cFolders

I am trying to activate cFolders in SRM.  Does anyone know if in SRM 7.03 using the NWBC as the front end if I can use cFolders?  Is it required to have the portal in order to have cFolders?  Is there SAP documentation that states that Portal is a requirement?
